II Cycle of studies
The graduate study program of Fruit and Viticulture, Vegetable and Floriculture and Ecology and Environmental Management in Agriculture is profiled as an engineering-professional study and aims to provide a formally recognized second degree of university education according to the principles of the Bologna Process (master's degree). the teaching material enables the development of knowledge and competencies acquired at the previous level of studies, as well as formal preconditions for continuing studies at the third level of university education (doctorate of science in the field of studies or related fields). In addition, upon completion of this graduate study, the graduate builds and strengthens his / her professional competence in the field of plant agricultural production.
Graduation of the study program, which according to the structure, set goals and curricula is profiled as an academic graduate study, enables students to:
- knowledge and understanding based on extended and in-depth knowledge acquired in previous studies that form the basis for the ability of an original approach to the development or application of ideas in a research context,
- ability to apply knowledge and understanding and solve problems in a new, unknown or multidisciplinary environment related to the field of study,
- ability to integrate knowledge and make judgments in the analysis of complex situations, including situations with incomplete or limited information,
- building social and ethical responsibility in the application of knowledge and the adoption of courts,
- ability to argue, convey attitudes and clear and unambiguous conclusions in both specialist and lay environment (communication),
- skills and learning habits developed to a very high degree of independence
- professional knowledge and skills needed in technological planning and implementation of modern agricultural production
Upon completion of the graduate study, the graduate will be able to independently design and organize the implementation of simpler professional and research programs and projects in the field of crop production and related fields, and independently prepare reports and present the results of programs and projects. For these general competencies, the student will be prepared through all subjects of the study program, and especially through the preparation of their final work. In this way, the student will develop abilities that should lead to his / her competence for:
- synthetic and analytical approach to problem solving,
- assessment of practice requirements and application of acquired knowledge in practice,
- in-depth knowledge in the field of plant agricultural production,
- teamwork and independent assessment, judging and decision making
- application of the basics of information technology in the field of studies
Conditions for enrollment in graduate studies
The condition for enrollment in graduate studies is the completion of a three-year study program of the first cycle of university education with a verified 180 ECTS.
Proposed graduate studies can be enrolled by students from agricultural and biotechnical faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina and students from related faculties from the region and the world.

The title that the student acquires upon completion of studies
The graduate study ends with the passing of all exams, and the preparation and public defense of the final thesis in accordance with the study program. Upon completion of the two-year graduate study program, the title of Master of Agriculture - Fruit and Viticulture Department and Master of Agriculture - Vegetable and Floriculture Department is acquired . #Magistar ....
The study program is realized as a graduate study at the Faculty of Agromediterranean in Mostar for a period of two academic years (four semesters) with a total load of 120 ECTS credits. The study is organized in three directions:
- Fruit and viticulture direction
- Vegetable and flower direction
- Ecology and environmental management in agriculture
- Urban agriculture
