Agriculture as a scientific discipline has been placed at the center of a long-term global strategy. Factors such as the lack of healthy and ecologically correct food, climate change and changes affecting the planet Earth are increasingly focusing on people's health, but agriculture is also becoming one of the biggest challenges today.

The global strategy seeks to ensure that every person on the planet has access not only to a sufficient amount of food, but also to healthy food that is necessary for maintaining the growth, development, health and stability of the human organism, all with the aim of protecting natural resources.
