Importance of water for plants
"Water is the basic principle and model of everything that exists, from which everything originated and to which everything returns. It is infinite, eternal matter that moves, condenses and dilutes, and that is how all phenomena occur. Where there is no water, there is no life. That is the first need of a man, which he must provide permanently, before he starts building his habitat. "
The emergence, life and growth of plants on Earth would be impossible without the presence of sufficient water. Water is also the energy with which the exchange and supply of nutrients and minerals from the earth to the plants takes place, only to eventually, through transpiration, leave the plant and enrich the climate.
Water is very important for the plant world. Aquatic plants are most easily supplied with water.
Many useful substances are dissolved in the aqueous medium, and the plant can easily reach them by absorption. However, plants on land often cannot easily reach the water, as they have difficulty extracting it sufficiently from the soil, so it is necessary for man to add it to them in the necessary quantities, especially in targeted crops.
