Summer school- “Processing of traditional foods and their quality”

In cooperation with the University of Mostar, this year we are involved in the project "Support of scientific and pedagogical activities at the University of Mostar and the University of Dzemal Bijedic", funded by the Czech Development Agency and organized by the Czech University of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Tropical Sciences. The project aims to raise scientific and pedagogical standards at these two institutions. In the period from 23.09.-1.10.2019. a summer school is held at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology . As part of the planned activities, a workshop for acad. staff and interested students (I, II and III cycles) of both institutions. The planned activities are spread over several days, and include:
- Basic laboratory skills and good laboratory practice
- Microbiology of food and microbiological methods in the laboratory
- Qualitative indicators in certain foods
- Processing of traditional food products - by drying
- Sensory analysis of food
