Summer school held - "Processing of traditional foods and their quality"

In the period from 23.9. to 10/1/2019 A summer school called "Processing of traditional foods and their quality" was organized by the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture and Mediterranean under the auspices of the Czech Development Agency.
The summer school was conducted by the teaching staff of the Czech University of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague Supply of scientific and pedagogical activities at the University of Mostar and the University of Dzemal Bjedic.
The project aimed to raise scientific and pedagogical standards at these two institutions. As part of the planned activities, workshops were held for acad. staff and interested students (I, II and III cycles) of both institutions.
The thematic units were spread over several days due to the spatial organization of practical exercises. The summer school introduced the participants, and hopefully they learned about basic laboratory skills, food microbiology and microbiological methods in the laboratory, qualitative indicators in certain foods, processing of traditional food products - drying, HACCAP standard and sensory analysis of food.
At the end of the seminar, certificates for participation were awarded.
