A freshman class was held at UNMO

Today, October 1, 2019, at the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, a freshman class was held in which the University welcomed 700 freshmen who are starting their academic education at the University's study programs.

The students were welcomed and encouraged by the Rector of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, prof. dr. Elvir Zlomušica, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, prof. dr. Rasid Hadzovic, and the president of the Students' Union, Dzani Pajic.

On this occasion, Rector Zlomušica said: “We place our hopes in you as young people, full of energy, ideas and potential, to encourage positive changes in our homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Therefore, we hope that during your studies you will be truly committed to the profession you have chosen, and that you will not forget that continuous work and education are always, and especially in today's time of universal variability and insecurity, a key tool for individual and society development. "

After greetings and student promotional gifts, students headed to the premises of 8 organizational units of the University - Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Teacher Education and Law and 4 university studies. - Interior Design, Business Informatics, Tourism and Health Care, where they met the teaching and administrative staff who will be their allies in the coming years on the path of science and progress.
