A meeting of the Network of Organizations in the Field of Food and Feed Safety was held

On November 5, 2019, the first meeting of the Network of Organizations in the Field of Food and Feed Safety was held, which was formed with the aim of promoting active scientific, professional and technical cooperation in the field of food and feed safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has initiated the procedure of establishing a Network of organizations in the field of food and feed safety.

The aim of the network is to establish a framework for scientific, professional and technical cooperation through coordination of activities, exchange of information, development and implementation of joint projects, exchange of experiences and best practices. The network is formed for the implementation of tasks and projects delegated and / or funded by international organizations, including the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and other international organizations in the field of food safety and food for animals.

The Faculty of Agromediterranean has joined the Network of Organizations in the Field of Food and Feed. This is a significant step for our Faculty because we will be able to express interest in projects available under the "EU Risk Assessment Agenda / EU RAA" of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), as well as other opportunities for cooperation with EFSA through the Safety Agency. food of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a contact point of EFSA.
