Scientific day held
Following the modern world trends in the development of science and scientific research, a Scientific Day was organized today in the premises of the Federal Agro-Mediterranean Institute in Mostar.
The scientific day was organized jointly by the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology and the Faculty of Agro-Mediterranean together with the Czech University of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Tropical Agricultural Sciences.
The goal of the "Science Day" was to involve students of agricultural faculties as future young researchers and businessmen and to transfer their knowledge and ideas to primary and secondary school students.
Visitors had the opportunity to show students, DNA isolation, green wall making, agricultural plant seeds, permaculture, they could taste different types of honey, fruits, see soap making, how to compost, what types of soil exist and how they differ, yes see collections of insects, herbariums, how the space is floristically arranged, etc.
In the end, the students were given special gifts for their effort and work.
We thank the visitors, professors and all students who, in addition to regular teaching activities, contributed to the organization of this day.
The Faculty of Agromediterranean - UNMO has organized or co-organized a significant number of scientific and professional gatherings with its work so far. This tradition will continue, improve and more often organize similar activities. This improves scientific-research work, cooperation, but also improves the quality of the entire academic society.
