Study programs
The Faculty of Agromediterranean has started teaching according to the principles of the Bologna Process in the academic year 2008/09. The faculty organizes and conducts first and second cycle studies in three directions:
- fruit and wine growing;
- vegetable and flower;
- ecology and environmental management in agriculture.
Curricula are designed to ensure absolute mobility of students, between related faculties of Bosnia and Herzegovina and European universities. In the coming period, Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to join the European Union, so that agricultural production and the educational process should be harmonized with the new European standards. One of the steps is the reform in the education of staff for the needs of agricultural production. Taking into account the above, a curriculum has been created, the same in the first year for three directions, and in the continuation of schooling, specialist subjects are introduced. In the third year, classes are conducted theoretically and practically on our training ground, and in companies that deal with primary agricultural production. The capacities of the companies doo Jaffa komerc and doo Hercegovinalijek are used, with which the faculty has an agreement for conducting practical classes.
